Lake Oahe, Missouri River - Saturday, June 5, 2010

Report Details
The last three days we have had good fishing, but today was exceptional.  We had 6 boats out of Swan Creek, mostly concentrating in the Moreau River.  The bite was hot and heavy all day today.  Largest fish was just over 28", with the average fish between 18" and 19".  Shallow water with bottom bouncer and spinners was the standout presentation, but there was a few fish taken on crank baits also.  Small walleyes and crappies will keep a person busy, but the big fish move up and limits come quick.  Cover lots of water and stay away from heavy boat pressure, and the bite isn't that hard to find.  There are still some rooms available for the upcoming weeks, and we will gladly point you in the right direction.
