Report Details
In response to you comments and questions from my latest report...I am a little hesitant to say that the shorelines are safe because they change so rapidly.  As of yesterday the conditions had improved some on the shorelines, but we are still driving our four wheelers through 16 to 18 inches of water off of the north ramp at Swan Creek.  There is probably 35 feet of water before we climb on the ice, but so far we havn't had any issues.   The travel on the ice with the quads has improved everyday.  Last week  was almost like boating, but now most of the water has seeped through and made things much more enjoyable.  There are still some slush pockets but they are pretty easy to see now since I have been stuck in almost all of them.  Yesterday, the bite was off in the morning, we only had one good keeper and a bunch of little ones.  That doesn't mean much we probably missed an afternoon or evening run.   Seems like lately we only get one or the other.  Hope this helps, be safe.
